This quarter, we’re introducing new functionality for Schwab users, a new Business Valuation Report, the opportunity to brand your own mobile app, and more. We think you’ll find these enhancements helpful as you work to deepen and grow your client relationships. Here are the highlights.
Tamarac CRM enhancements
1. Custodial integration: Schwab digital account opening
As part of our continued integration with Schwab, Schwab users can now push existing Tamarac CRM contact information directly into Schwab to begin the account opening process, save time, and reduce the risk of manual entry errors.
This feature streamlines account opening by pushing data from primary contacts, secondary contacts, or both, into Schwab. For help with enabling it, or for more information, reach out to your Support team or see Schwab Digital Account Opening.
2. Increased synchronicity between MailChimp and Tamarac
The MailChimp service allows RIAs to automate email marketing activities, including sending marketing emails, automated messages, and targeted campaigns. To make MailChimp workflows even more efficient, we're introducing four new Power Automate Flow templates that use MailChimp's Dynamics 365 app. These new templates sync the marketing list in Tamarac CRM with the MailChimp marketing list, so when you make changes like adding contacts or members to one list, they’ll be reflected in the other list.
3. Enhanced Business Valuation Report for a clearer picture
We heard advisors’ feedback about how important it is to have a detailed report about their business. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the Business Valuation Report. This report is designed to give you a more complete picture of your business and help you plan for the future by providing information like:
- Number of clients, managed value, net worth, revenue, and contribution rate
- Revenue at risk, average length of client relationships, and total number of clients
- Age range based data breakdowns
- Top location, including percentage of clients, total managed value, and revenue by location
- Average breakdown of managed value, revenue, and fee by primary advisor
Tamarac Reporting enhancements
1. Separate interest and dividends in the Projected Income Report
On the Projected Income report, we've made it easier to identify when interest and dividends were paid for each security. Now advisors can quickly break interest and dividends out into separate rows under each security for greater detail. For more information, see Combine Interest and Dividends.
2. Mobile app offers new features and a new look
In this 24/7, always-on world, your clients need to be able to access all their financial information on their mobile device. That’s why we’ve expanded the mobile app to enable you and your clients to access any information from the client portal anywhere, any time.
New mobile-friendly versions of every desktop page and widget deliver a comprehensive mobile client portal experience, and new interactive charts and graphs offer additional detail when your clients tap or press on data points. There’s an expanded dashboard, support for portrait and landscape views, and more. And when you add a page to a Reports template, it’s automatically included in the mobile version of the client portal.
3. Create your own branded mobile app
We first introduced the client portal mobile app with a clean, unbranded generic experience. But with these latest updates, you can now create your own fully branded mobile app for your clients. And the automated workflow makes it possible to create your app in minutes instead of days. The user-friendly interface shows how to set up your Apple and Google developer accounts, upload a logo, define your meta data, and submit the app to the app store.
