RON RANSOM

As Envestnet’s Group Head of ESG, Ron Ransom is responsible for the development and implementation of corporate strategy for Environmental, Social and Governance efforts for Envestnet.

With nearly three decades of financial services expertise Ron has been dedicated to being an inspirational leader, courageously driving results, and importantly, empowering others.

Ron started in the industry right out of college and has led many large businesses inclusive of wealth management field sales, talent acquisition and recruiting, international private banking, and asset management distribution, including executive roles with UBS, Bank of America, and Nationwide.

Ron earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Colgate University and a Master of Science in Management from The American College. 

In addition to holding his Series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 65 licenses, Ron is also Insurance Licensed, a Six Sigma Green Belt, and a “Leadership Through People Skills” trained facilitator.

Ron has a passion for mentoring future organizational leaders and is an active member of the Colgate Maroon Council and Handshake America. Sharing Envestnet’s values of giving back, Ron has served on numerous boards including The American College, The Ohio State University Early Head Start Program, and the King Arts Complex. 

In his free time, Ron enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Robyn, and two children, Ryann and Trey.
